Betty Lou Hinds, 90 of Columbia, formerly of Centralia, died Friday, January 28, 2022 at the Candlelight Lodge in Columbia.

Funeral services will be held 10:00 AM Friday, February 11, 2022 at Fenton-Kendrick Funeral Home in Centralia with burial to follow in the Centralia City Cemetery.

There will be no visitation.

Betty was born on May 11, 1931 in Hannibal, Missouri the daughter of Raymond B. and Elizabeth (Sagaster) McClain.

On June 6, 1956 in Monroe City, Betty married Alvia Ronald Hinds, and he preceded her in death on August 12, 2001.

Betty is survived by her children, Donna Jones of Fulton, Peggy Hinds of Mexico, and Kenny Hinds and wife Lorie of LaPorte, TX; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; sister, Christina McCarty; daughter-in-law, Bonnie Hinds, sister-inlaw, Gwen Mattingly; sister-in-law, Sheryl Willier.

Along with her husband, Betty was preceded in death by a son, Ronald Hinds, siblings, Carl Sagaster, Junior McClain, Mildred McClead, Helen Pridemore, and Gloria DeLaporte, sister-in-law, Romona Hale.

Betty was a member of the First Baptist Church in Centralia. She enjoyed visiting with fiends and family, doing embroidery and mushroom hunting with her husband.

Memorial donations are suggested to the Antioch Baptist Church in Centralia, and may be sent in care of Fenton-Kendrick Funeral Home, 104 S. Collier Centralia, MO 65240.
