Casey Joe Cox, 37, of Centralia, died Monday, December 20, 2021.

Funeral services will be held 2:30 PM Monday, December 27, 2021 at Fenton-Kendrick Funeral Home in Centralia, with burial to follow in the Centralia City Cemetery.

Visitation will be held from 1:00 PM until the service time on Monday at the funeral home.

Casey was born on October 11, 1984, in Mexico, the son of Christy Griffith and Chris Cox.

Casey is survived by his daughters, Caylee and Claire Cox; his parents, Christy Lee and husband Jim, and Chris Cox and wife Connie; brother, Chad Cox and wife Andrea; nieces, Marley and Cory Cox all of Centralia; grandparents, Bob and Connie Griffith of Mexico; cousin/brother, Dustin Wainscott of Nashville; aunt, Tonnie Wainscott of Owasso, OK; step-siblings, Boone Lee of Centralia, Britlyn (Lee) Brown and husband Thomas of Centralia, Tristan Cramer, Nick Redington and wife Brianna, and Kayla Morton and husband David all of Hallsville; cousin, Hunter Griffith.

Casey was preceded in death by an infant son, Connor Cox, brother, Cory Lee Cox, uncle, Rodney Griffith; cousin, Courtney Griffith; aunt, Donna Pace; grandparents, Tom and Mae Cox.

Casey enjoyed playing sports, watching Mizzou, going fishing, enjoyed playing catch with his daughters and spending time with his nieces. Casey liked to fix things and could fix anything.  He had a great sense of humor, liked to play pranks.
