Cheryl Ann Embree, 66 of Sturgeon passed away Friday, February 7, 2025, at the University Hospital and Clinics in Columbia.

Family and friends are invited to Cheryl's Life Celebration 11:00 AM Friday, February 14, 2025, at Fenton-Kendrick Funeral Home in Centralia. A visitation will be held from 10:00 AM until the time of the service at the funeral home on Friday.

Cheryl was born on March 1, 1958, the daughter of Marvin and Rita (Germaine) Hampton.

Cheryl worked for over 40 years at the University of Missouri Hospital.

She enjoyed music, computer games, everything Pioneer Woman, and watching reality TV, but most of all Cheryl loved and was extremely devoted to her family. Her pride and joy were her two daughters, and Cheryl dedicated her life to caring for Becky.

Cheryl is survived by her daughters, Amanda Embree, and Rebecca Embree both of Sturgeon; siblings, David Hampton of Columbia, Robert Hampton of Auxvasse, and Sheila Woods (Danny) of Eldon; her aunt, Marlene Hottel of Cameron.

Cheryl was preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Patrick Hampton.

Memorial donations are suggested to the Rebecca Embree Care Fund, for future care of Becky, and may be sent in care of Fenton-Kendrick Funeral Home, 104 S. Collier St. Centralia, MO 65240.
