Deborah Suzann Ridgway, 54, of Hallsville died January 6, 2022 at her home.
Funeral services will be held 10:00 AM, Thursday, January 13, 2022 at Fenton-Kendrick Funeral Home in Centralia, with burial to follow in the Glendale Memorial Gardens.
Visitation will be held from 5:00-7:00 PM Wednesday, January 12, 2022 at the funeral home.
"Debbie" was born on July 30, 1967 in Hallsville, the daughter of James Edward and Clora Sue (Smith) Ridgway.
Debbie is survived by her brother, Eddie Ridgway and wife Sonda of Hallsville; nephew, Owen Ridgway; her cherished pets, Gracie, Ruthie, Sasha and Sassafras; and many close aunts, cousins, and friends.
Debbie adored animals and especially loved spending time with her yorkies. Throughout her life she also enjoyed singing karaoke, participating in Civil War re-enactments, fishing, and camping. She was very talented and liked to knit, sew, craft, and bake. She often made cute clothes for her yorkies. Many friends and family have been blessed to receive a home-made gift from Debbie such as an ornament, a blanket, or some tasty baked goods.
Although Debbie did not have any children of her own, she had so much love to share and was considered a valued friend, a second mother, or a grandmother to many over the years. She had numerous friends and kept in touch with them through social media. She would share daily devotionals or scripture that helped her keep her spirits high and faith intact, in hopes that it would also help others. As we think of Debbie today, we believe this is one she would share with us:
Keep alert, stand firm in your faith, be courageous, be strong. Let all that you do be done in love.
1 Corinthians 16:13-14
