Delores "Dot" McNaghten, 95 of Centralia passed away peacefully at Boone Hospital Center in Columbia on July 4, 2026.

Family and friends are invited to Dot's Life Celebration 10:00 AM Saturday, July 11, 2026, at Fenton-Kendrick Funeral Home in Centralia with burial to follow in the Glendale Memorial Gardens.

A visitation will be held from 5:00-7:00 PM Friday, July 10, 2026, at the funeral home.

Delores was born on August 20, 1930, in Peoria, Illinois, the daughter of Julius and Eleanor (Bucher) Kelch.

Dot married Delmar “Mac” McNaghten on September 1, 1951, and he preceded her in death on January 9, 1999.

Delores is survived by her daughters, Karen Tuggle of Centralia, and Carol Whalen of Texas; five grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, ten great-great-grandchildren; sister, Barbara of Reno, NV, many nieces and nephews; brother-in-law, Bruce McNaghten and wife Marge.

Along with her husband, Dot was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers, and three sisters.

Her favorite occupation was her in home daycare, “Dot’s Darlings”. She will also be remembered for her wonderful wedding cakes and delicious candies and cookies at Christmas time.

She was a member of Cornerstone Baptist Church.

In Lieu of Flowers, the family suggests donations to the American Cancer Society or St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, or the Alzheimer’s Association, and may be sent in care of Fenton-Kendrick Funeral Home 104 S. Collier St. Centralia, MO 65240.
