Donald W. Rusch, 83 of Centralia, died Saturday, June 8, 2019 at the Stuart House in Centralia.

A memorial service will be held 7:00 PM Wednesday, June 12, 2019 at Fenton Funeral Chapel. Friends and family are invited to Donald's Life Celebration at a visitation from 4:00-7:00 PM Wednesday, June 12, 2019 at the funeral chapel.

Don was born on March 7, 1936 in Scotts Bluff, NE, the son of Ruben Rusch and Amelia Scheidt.

Don was a graduate a Centralia High School.

On May 12, 1957 at the First Christian Church in Centralia, Donald married Anna Ruth Dowell and she survives of the home.

Along with his wife, Anna Ruth Don is survived by his children, Melissa Rusch of Overland Park, KS, Denny Rusch and wife Lisa of Centralia, Carla Creel and husband Brad of Centralia; grandchildren, Mandi Barnes and husband Sam of Centralia, Matthew Rusch and wife Tierney of Centralia, Morgan Creel of Columbia, Sydney Creel (Brent Dowell) of Columbia; great-grandchildren, Karsyn and Keegan Barnes, Brecken Rusch; sisters, Margaret Spangler of Virginia, and Jeane Waterman of New Hampshire.

Along with his parents, Don was preceded in death by his foster parents, Roy and Jessie Ann Beasley.

Don was an avid reader, and served on the Library Board for many years. He loved spending time with his grandchildren and following them in all of their sporting events.
