Donald Wayne Ward, 78 of Centralia died Wednesday, February 21, 2018, at his home.

Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Saturday, February 24, 2018 at Fenton Funeral Chapel in Centralia with burial to follow in the Vandalia Cemetery in Vandalia, MO. Visitation will be held from 9:00- 11:00 AM on Saturday at the funeral chapel.

Donald was born August 10, 1939, in Audrain County, the son of Lee J. and Lillian (Foree) Ward.

Donald graduated from Van-Far High School, he then served his country in the United States Navy.

Donald married Joyce Sue Lynn on June 12, 1966, and she survives.

Along with his wife Joyce, Donald is survived by a daughter, Nicole Ward (Ben James) of Centralia, and a son, James Ward (Rachel) of Mexico; a granddaughter, Kyra Ward of Centralia.

Donald was preceded in death by his parents.

Don worked for 32 years at the A.B. Chance Company. He really enjoyed the time he spent at McDonald's visiting with friends, he also loved watching the St. Louis Cardinals and western movies.
