Dorothy loved her church family at Crossroads Community Church and truly felt at home there. Dorothy enjoyed crocheting, playing piano, and guitar, singing, and collecting dolls. She could throw a mean fastpitch baseball in her younger years, and was very good at organizing, truly enjoying it her whole life.

Elaine lived in many places throughout her life.  As a young person, she lived in Colorado, New Mexico, Oklahoma, Arkansas, Oregon and Nebraska.  After she and Charles were married, they lived in Louisiana, Texas, New Mexico, Nebraska, Kansas, South Dakota, Arkansas and Missouri.

She and Charles would travel with their children to Oregon to help with church camp meetings for many summers. They loved traveling. As an adult, she finished school, becoming an LPN and working in various nursing jobs.  Later in life, she transitioned and worked as a teacher.

She was a remarkable woman and will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
