Edward "EB" Sims, 83, of Madison, passed away Wednesday, March 30, 2022, in Fulton.

Funeral services will be held 10:00 AM, Monday, April 4, 2022, at Fenton-Kendrick Funeral Home in Centralia, with burial to follow at Missouri State Veterans Cemetery in Jacksonville.

Visitation will be held from 9:00 AM until the time of service on Monday at the funeral home.

EB was born on June 15, 1938, in Columbia, Missouri, the son of Carson and Florence (Winn) Sims.

On May 18, 1974, he was married in Dripping Springs, Missouri, to Linda Faye (Lincoln) Sims, who preceded him in death.

EB is survived by his two sons, Carson Sherman Sims and wife Wendy of Madison and Forrest Lee Sims of Fulton.

EB was a jack of all trades.  He worked construction and as a meat cutter just to name a few; all while raising his family and cattle farming.  EB worked as a custodian for the Columbia Public Schools for 16 years before retiring to farm full-time.

EB was a caring soul and loved his wife and sons fiercely.  He enjoyed taking road trips, especially moseying along the countryside.  EB could often be found reading his western novels and solving crosswords and puzzle books.
