Edith Mary Broaddus passed away in Columbia, MO on December 7, 2019.

There will be services held at a later date in Kansas.

Edith was born on September 25, 1930 in Wasta, South Dakota.

On June 13, 1951 in Topeka, KS, Edith married Donald Broaddus and he survives.

Along with her husband Don, Edith is survived by a son, David and wife Joyce, daughter Debbie; grandchildren, Shannon, Kameron, Kreighton, Journee, Paxton, Kristian, Kaleb, Anthony, Sebastian, Seth (Dawni), Marcy, Mallory, Shane and three great-grandchildren.

Edith was preceded in death by her mother and step-father Orville and Isabelle Myers, two brothers, Patrick O. Myers and George Myers, her grandparents, George and Marcella Nelson.

Edith graduated from Spearfish Normal and the University of Kansas with a degree in nursing. Don and Edith were happily married for 68 and a half years, spending their time travelling to all 50 states and especially enjoyed the southwest states.

Edith loved horses, listening to live gospel music, reading, working crossword puzzles, watching Jeopardy, and playing cards and games with friends and family.
