Edward Eugene Day, 69 of Centralia passed away March 22, 2023,  at Boone Hospital Center in Columbia.

Family and Friends are invited to Ed's Life Celebration at a visitation from 3:00-5:00 PM Saturday, March 25, 2023 at Fenton-Kendrick Funeral Home.

Ed was born on June 25, 1953, in St. Louis, the son of Billy and Ida (Harlow) Day.

On May 8, 1982, Ed married Susan Swanson and she survives of the home.

Along with his wife, Susan, Ed is survived by his children, Julie Kirchhoff and husband Ryan of Centralia, Mark Day and wife Paige of Centralia, and Kristen Hawkins and husband Daniel of Joplin; grandchildren, Brayden Wiecken, Madisyn Kirchhoff, Makenzi Day, and Malachi Day; his mother, Ida "Sissy" Day; a brother, Kenny Day; several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Ed was preceded in death by his father, Billy Day and a sister, Karen Day.

Ed was an avid St. Louis Cardinals fan, watching every game he could. He enjoyed camping, playing bass guitar, gaming on the Xbox, and especially trout fishing and board games with his family.

Ed was known to be ornery.

Most of all he loved spending time with his grandchildren, and family.
