Ellis Franklin Huskey, 81 of Clark, died Wednesday, February 14, 2018 at his home.

Funeral services will be held 1:00 PM Friday, February 16, 2018 at Fenton Funeral Chapel in Centralia, burial with full military honors will follow in the Mt. Horeb Cemetery in Sturgeon. Visitation will be held from 6:00-8:00 PM Thursday, February 15, 2017 at Fenton Funeral Chapel.

Ellis was born on September 25, 1936 in Poplar Bluff, the son of Wesley and Annie (Buchanan) Huskey.

Ellis served his country in the United States Air Force for 14 years.

On September 15, 1956 in Vandalia, MO, Ellis married Mary Florence Carr, and she preceded him in death on March 27, 2014.

Ellis owned and operated Huskey Garage for many years. Ellis really enjoyed working, raising cattle and camping.

Ellis is survived by a daughter, Mary Christine Jennings and husband Gary Dale of Clark; sons, Ellis Michael Huskey and wife Bunny of Sturgeon and Paul Wesley Huskey and wife Lisa of East Prairie; five grandchildren, Matthew Dale Jennings and wife Katie of Columbia, Marcus Daniel Jennings of Fayetteville, AR., Brandon Michael Huskey and wife Jamie of Clark, Kelsey Nichole Bash and husband Travis of Yuma, Ariz., and Lydia Bernice Hill and husband Ryan of Charleston; and great-grandchildren, Brody Dale Jennings of Columbia, Colton Lee  and Caleb Michael Bash of Yuma, Jaylan Autumn, Nickayla Belen, and Braylee Dyani Huskey of Clark, Tayler Cheyenne Huskey of Clark, and Emma Elizabeth, Elliana Grace, and Zion Wesley Daniel Hill of East Prairie; sister, Rinda Blakemore, and husband Dale of Harrisburg, brothers, Leo Huskey of Columbia, and Gene Huskey of Murry.

Along with his wife Mary, Ellis was preceded in death by his parents, a brother, Gilbert Huskey, and a granddaughter, Rachel Elizabeth Huskey.
