Gerald David Beasley, 72 of Centralia, died Tuesday, May 15, 2018 at his home.

Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM Friday at Fenton Funeral Chapel in Centralia with burial to follow in Glendale Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be held from 1:00pm until the time of the service Friday at the funeral chapel.

Gerald was born on June 27, 1945 in Thompson, the son of Orville Ray and Dorothy Evelyn (Davenport) Beasley.

Jerry is survived by his wife of 45 years Bonnie Coleman of the home; son, Timothy David Beasley of Centralia, daughter, Donna Sue Carney of Tennessee, step-daughter, Tammy Hartegan (Dwayne) of Centralia, Step-daughter, Kelly Hill (Jim) of Springfield, eight grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren; sister, Deanna Arnold (James) of Centralia, sisters-in-law, June Beasley of Centralia, and Carolyn Beasley of Centralia, numerous nieces and nephews.

Jerry was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, Larry Beasley and Ray Beasley, a sister, Mattie Belle Roberts.

Jerry farmed for many years, and was an owner and operator of Beasley Implement with his brothers. He also owned Lawn and Garden at home. Jerry loved his family and was a very devoted Father, Husband and Grandfather.  He truly loved gardening, working on and repairing mowers and small engines.
