Goldie Jane Chase, 96 of Centralia died Tuesday, December 15, 2020 at the Heritage Hall Nursing Center in Centralia.

Graveside services will be held 1:00 PM Friday, December 18, 2020 at the Centralia City Cemetery.

To those attending the graveside service, we ask that you wear a face mask, and maintain social distancing. Be aware that capacity and seating may be limited. We will follow guidelines set forth by Boone County.

Goldie was born on March 31, 1924 in Audrain County, the daughter of George Henry and Mary Elizabeth (Ewings) Adkisson.

On May 3, 1941 in Centralia, Goldie married George Andrew Chase, they were happily married 67 years, and he preceded her in death on August 22, 2008.

Goldie is survived by a son, Chester Chase and wife Bonnie of Sturgeon, a daughter, Sandra Chase of Centralia; a daughter-in-law, Judy Chase; grandchildren, Clayton Chase, Michelle Sandker, Melissa Wilhite, Chris Shuck, and Miranda Pollock; eight great-grandchildren; one great-great grandchild.

Along with her husband George, Goldie was preceded in death by her parents, a son, Bill Chase, a daughter, Sharon Ann Chase and nine siblings.

Goldie loved cooking, sewing, reading, and taking care of the farm. Goldie truly loved her husband, George, they shared a very special bond. The time she spent with her family were some of her most favorite times.
