James F. Forshee, 81 of Centralia, died Wednesday, December 15, 2021 at Boone Hospital Center in Columbia.

Services will be held 11:00 AM Sunday, January 2, 2022 at Sunnydale Seventh Day Adventist Church in Centralia with Pastor Lou Alfalah officiating.

James was born on April 22, 1940 in Rifle, CO the son of Myron Lee and Leta (Byrrum)Forshee.

On June 3, 1962 in Loveland. CO James married Margaret Schade, and she preceded him death on December 16, 2012. James then married Kay Schraufek, and she preceded him in death on November 20, 2021.

Jim is survived by his children, Scott Forshee and wife Mickey of Republic, MO, Darren Forshee of Centralia, Shaunna Forshee of Gardner, KS, and Brenda Forshee of Denver, CO; grandchildren, Amanda Forshee of Centralia, Kaitlyn Allen of New Haven, Teaghen and Tangey Schraufek-Forshee of St. Joseph, MO, and Garrett Forshee of Centralia; great-grandchildren, Harper Forshee and Olivia Allen; siblings, Winifred Blackburn of Idaho, Melvin Forshee of Idaho, and Patricia Bush of Colorado.

Along with Margaret and Kay, Jim was preceded in death by his parents, and a brother, William Forshee.

Jim was a home builder, he worked many years as a carpenter. He truly loved his work.

He enjoyed water skiing, rebuilding cars, especially Oldsmobile cars. Jim like to fish, work in the garden and go to estate sales.
