Jolene (Meeks) Smoot, 74, of Centralia, passed away on Wednesday, June 30, 2021 at Boone Hospital Center in Columbia.

Jolene was born on December 10, 1946 in Randolph County, the daughter of Jesse and Roberta (White) Meeks.

On September 24, 1990 Jolene married Howard Smoot, and he survives of the home.

Along with her husband Howard, Jolene is survived by her children, Cherri Fadler of Centralia, Troy Fadler (Ginger) of Centralia; step-children, Todd Smoot (Cynthia) of Harrisburg, Crystal Smoot of Centralia; siblings, Nylda Gentry (Bobby) of Mexico, Mike Meeks (Ruth Ann) of Centralia, Kevin Meeks of Sturgeon.

Jolene was preceded in death by her parents, two sisters, a step-son and many family and friends.

She attended Centralia schools, worked for various companies including Chance Company, Hoods and Wal-Mart.
