Juanita Jennings, 96 of Columbia, died Tuesday, December 25, 2018 at the Boone Hospital Center in Columbia.

Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM Saturday, December 29, 2018 at Fenton Funeral Chapel in Centralia, with burial to follow in the Centralia City Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 1:00 PM until the time of the service on Saturday at the funeral chapel.

Juanita was born on April 11, 1922 in Centralia, the daughter of Virgil Joe and Mary Ellen (McBaine) Palmer.

On April 11, 1939, in Mexico, MO, Juanita married Verdell Jennings and he preceded her in death on February 23, 2013.

Juanita is survived by her children, Joe Jennings and wife Linda of Columbia, Mary Burnett of Columbia, Dee Decker and husband Donnie of Centralia; grandchildren, Jeff Jennings, Penny Colley, Becky Reynolds, Tammy Fisher, Tyson Jennings, Ashley Farrens; 11 great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild.

Along with her parents and husband Verdell, Juanita was preceded in death by two brothers and one sister.

Juanita was an avid St. Louis Cardinals fan. She loved to bake and made the best pies. Juanita enjoyed doing crafts and crocheting. She loved Sunday dinners, because all her family would be with her at her home, she truly loved her family.
