Judith Waclawek Corn McDowell, 72, of Centralia, passed away after a brief and sudden illness on Tuesday, July 6, 2021, at the University Hospital in Columbia.

Judy was born on January 12, 1949, in East Chicago, Indiana, the daughter of Donald Moss and Rita Waclawek.  She was adopted in August of 1949 by Arthur and Florence Corn of Chicago, Illinois.

Judy is survived by her daughters Brenda (Scott) Moore and Jen McDowell, granddaughter Justice Filimonuk, and siblings Kathy (Tim) Sparks, Paula (Tom) Drummond, and Linda (Knute) Rodgers.

Judy was preceded in death by her husband, Randy McDowell, and daughter, Amanda McDowell.

Judy cherished time spent with her girls, her sisters, and her dogs.  She delighted in training and showing her adored dogs Tonto, Rocky and Teko.

Judy enjoyed playing cards, dancing to the Krazy Kats and loved the adventure and discovery of her family ancestry.
