Kathleen Marie Moore Younger, 99, of Centralia MO, went to be with the Lord Friday,
August 5, 2022, at the Stuart House in Centralia. Marie was born on March 17, 1923, in
Princeton, MO, the daughter of Hugh and Mabel Moore. Marie was a member of the
First Christian Church in Centralia.

Marie was preceded in death by her husband, Clyde Wade Younger, Jr. of Centralia and
by her parents, Hugh and Mable Moore.

Marie is survived by her two children, Robert Wade Younger and his wife Terry of
Centralia and Patricia M. Compton and her husband Jerry of Springfield MO. She is also
survived by seven grandchildren and eleven greatgrandchildren; John Andrew Compton
married to Melinda (two daughters, Payton and Gabrielle "Gabby"); Kristen Michelle
Compton Cleek married to Aaron Cleek (three children; Logan Kathleen, Wilder Aaron,
and Madilyn Jane); Angela Marie Compton Kreiser married to Daniel Kreiser (two
children, Lucas Daniel and Dana Marie); Lesley Ann Compton Maupin married to Corby
Maupin, (three children, James Colt, Phyllis Marie and Corby Alexander); Jason Cole
Younger, Robert Matthew Younger and his wife Melissa; Marcus Wade Younger and
wife Katie.

Marie enjoyed being an Air Force wife, making lifelong friends at every station. One of
her favorite places was in Colorado Springs where she and Wade belonged to a group of
couples called "Destination Unknown". They would rotate with two couples choosing
the place to go and everyone else just showing up. She talked Wade into getting a
poodle puppy then ended up with three as the years went by.
Marie loved spending time at the Lake of the Ozarks watching the kids play on and off
the dock. Loved fishing.

Loved her "art group" in Centralia (jokingly called it their art therapy group)
Always tried to be there for all of us.
She will be missed.
