Jane Darr

Martha Jane Darr, 97 of Columbia died Sunday, February 17, 2019 at the Parkside Manor in Columbia.

Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM, Saturday, March 2, 2019 at the Boxholm United Methodist Church in Boxholm, Iowa with Rev. Bill Schnackenberg officiating. Burial will follow in the Lawn Cemetery in Boxholm. Visitation will be held from 10:00 AM until the time of the service on Saturday at the church.

Jane was born on December 20, 1921 in Delphi, IN the daughter of Stuart and Gertrude (Wolver) Welker.

On August 8, 1944 in Chicago, Jane married Darall Darr, and he preceded her in death in 2003.

Jane is survived by a daughter, Cathi Grace and husband Bill of Centralia, MO; grandchildren, Juli Yocum (David Passman) of Independence, MO, Jason Grace (Jessica) of Leawood, KS, Kim King (David) of Texas; great-grandchildren, John Yocum, Sofia Grace, Ashton Grace, Avery Grace, Dylan King.

Along with her husband, Darall, Jane was preceded in death by a son, Tim Darr.

Jane really loved living on the farm and spending time with her family.
