May 20, 1990 — Jan 17, 2026
Centralia
Megan Jean Reynolds, 35, of Centralia passed away Saturday, January 17, 2026, at her home.
Family and friends are invited to Megan's Life Celebration 11:00 AM Saturday, January 24, 2026, at the LaPlata Christian Church, 120 W. Moore St., LaPlata, MO. Burial will follow in the Bunce Cemetery in Elmer.
Visitation will be held from 9:00 AM until the time of the service on Saturday at the church.
Megan was born on May 20, 1990, in Kirksville, the daughter of Glenn Howe and Gina West.
Megan loved like no other, she brought light to every light she touched. She never met a stranger, and each meeting began with a hug.
Megan loved hunting and fishing with her father, Glenn and her family. Megan was a nurse and was so proud to bring new little lives into the world.
Megan married Justin Reynolds on March 19, 2016. She was the most selfless, supportive and devoted wife that any man could dream of.
Megan enjoyed talking and visiting with family, which was effortless to strike up a conversation, and nearly impossible for her to stop. She was famous for her frequent and long phone conversations with her sister Andrea. She enjoyed listening to Country Gold and really enjoyed listening to Justin sing.
She was a graduate of Atlanta High School then attended Truman State University graduating in May of 2013, receiving a bachelor's degree in nursing, achieving the honor of Cum Laude. Megan loved being a nurse, she seemingly lived for it until her first child was born, Ivy Claire Reynolds, at which point the love that she brought to the world was increased exponentially and directed toward that one little person, followed by her second child, Lena Blair Reynolds. Megan loved and cared for her children, and lived to share their adventures, experiences and the funny things they would say or do.
Megan was a joy to every life she touched, a wonderful friend, an amazing mother, a once in a lifetime wife. Her loss will leave a void on this earth that will be impossible to fill.
Megan is survived by her husband, Justin Reynolds, daughters, Ivy Claire, and Lena Blaire Reynolds, a step-son, Elijah Reynolds, her father, Glenn Howe, mother, Gina Gilliland (Craig), siblings, Andrea White, Kirsten Gilliland, Landon Gilliland; Grandparents, David and Phyllis West, Ethel Howe, father-in-law, Neil Reynolds (Allisha), mother-in-law, Vickie Fugate; brothers-in-law, Jared Reynolds, Tyler Reynolds; numerous aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
Megan was preceded in death by her grandfather, Bill Howe, Grandmother, Beverly Peavler Gilliland and aunt, Alvina "Auntie" Howe.
Memorial donations can be made payable to Justin Reynolds for the care of Ivy and Lena and may be sent in care of Fenton-Kendrick Funeral Home, 104 S. Collier St. Centralia, MO 65240.
