Michael Steven "Crash" Cook , 35, of Columbia died Saturday, December 2, 2017 at his home.

Funeral services will be held 1:30 PM Thursday, December 7, 2017 at Fenton Funeral Chapel in Centralia with burial to follow in the Chapel Grove Cemetery in Clark, MO. Visitation will be held Wednesday, December 6, 2017 from 5:00-7:00 PM at Fenton Funeral Chapel.

Michael was born on October 7, 1982 in Columbia, the son of Steven and Helen (Riley) Cook.

Michael is survived by his mother, Helen Riley (Roger Cruzan) of Sturgeon; his father Steven Cook of Centralia; siblings, Angela Foster (Travis) of Centralia, Stephanie Collazo (Teddy) of Florida, and Travis Cook(Kaitlin Sheerin) of Columbia; his children, Delaney, Ryleigh, and Oscar Cook; grandparents, Junior H. and Wanda Cook of Centralia; several aunts, uncles and cousins; his fiancé`, Nadine Saylor of Columbia.

Michael was preceded in death by grandparents, Henry and Mable Riley; his great-grandmother, Geneva Hendren who he shared a birthday and a special bond ; an aunt, Martha Allen, an uncle, Billy Riley.

Michael attended Centralia Schools.  Michael was a very giving and caring person, that loved his family, music, and comic books. Michael was a free spirit, that never knew a stranger, making friends wherever he went. He will be loved and missed by all that knew him.
