Patrick Crosby, 85 of Columbia, passed away Thursday December 18, 2025, at the Columbia Post Acute.

Graveside service will be held 2:00 PM Friday, April 17, 2026, at the Bellevue Cemetery in Bellevue, NE.

Life Celebration services will be held 4:00 PM Friday April 1, 2026 at the Eagles Club in York, NE

Patrick was born on January 13, 1940, in Beatrice, NE the son of Ralph Emerson and Martha (Wollney) Crosby.

Patrick married Betty Harrison on July 24, 1996, and she preceded him in death on April 6, 2022.

Patrick is survived by his children, Pamela J. Downing (Tom) of Columbia, Michael D. Crosby of Columbia, Pamela J. Pfeffer of York, NE, Catherine A. Piper (Tim) of York, NE, John J. Pfeffer, II (Angie) of Gulf Port, MS, Julie Liesveld (Clark) of Holland, NE, Nicole L. Ackerman, (Jason) of York, NE, Doug Todd (Alissa) of York, NE, daughter-in-law, Pamela Sapp; grandchildren, Mitch, Brooke, Nichole and Chauncey; six great-grandchildren,many step-grandchildren, and step-great-grandchildren. .

Along with his wife, Betty, Patrick was preceded in death by his parents, siblings, Robert Crosby, Jerry Crosby, Barbara Tapee, and Marilyn Roberts.

Patrick was a history buff, studying history and visiting museums. He enjoyed dancing, drawing, and was an avid reader.

Patrick liked to go fishing and watch sporting events.
