Pauline Lucille Fenton, 96 passed away Monday, February 26, 2024 at Glasgow Gardens, Glasgow, Missouri.

Graveside service will be held 11:00 AM Friday, March 1, 2024, at Chapel Grove Cemetery in Clark.

Lucille was born on April 7, 1927, in Renick, the daughter of Paul Afton and Zarinda (Hines) Fainter.

Lucille graduated in 1944 from Renick High School. She was a member of Perche Baptist Church and the Eastern Star.

Lucille farmed for many years in her early life, and was a cook at the Boone County Jail, and later worked many years at Heritage Hall Nursing Home.

She is survived by her sister, Margaret Vinson, of New Jersey, and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, and siblings. Mary Juanita Sanders, Harold Eugene Fainter, Raymond Fainter, Priscilla Alene Senvey, Lora Loraine Fainter, Joseph Fainter, Carl Clifford Fainter and Paul Afton Fainter, Jr.

In 1980, life changes brought her into her adopted/extended Carr family. T.J. Carr became her dear friend and confidant. He preceded her in death in 2006. Lucille loved T.J.'s children and grandchildren like they were her own. We (the Carr family) are blessed and grateful.
