Ronald L. Griggs, 70 of Centralia died, Thursday, July 19, 2018 at the Harry S. Truman Veterans Hospital in Columbia.

Funeral services will be held 10:00 AM Monday, July 23, 2018 at the Crossroads Cathedral Assembly of God Church in Centralia, burial with full military honors will follow the service in the Missouri State Veterans Cemetery in Jacksonville.

Visitation will be held from 1:30-3:00 PM Sunday, July 22, 2018 at Fenton Funeral Chapel.

Ron was born on April 3, 1948 in Clark, Missouri the son of Paul Leverne  and Dorothy Helen (Smith) Griggs.

Ron served his country in the United States Air Force.

Ron is survived by a daughter, Tamera Hanvey and husband James of Centralia, sons, Ryan Griggs and wife Barbara of Columbia, Rob Griggs and Wife Maria of Columbia; grandchildren, Katelyn and Cole Hanvey, Shelby, Dakota, and Jasmine Griggs; sisters, Beverly Wells and husband Mike of Boonesboro, MO, and Cheryl Hartgrove and husband David of Centralia, brother, John Paul Griggs.

Along with his parents, Ron was preceded in death by sisters, Kay Smith, and Linda Louise Fowler.

Ron was an avid gardener, and outdoorsman. He retired from Boeing after many years of dedicated service.
