Ronald Davis Purvis, 66 of Centralia died Monday, February 28, 2022 at St. Luke Hospital in Chesterfield.

Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Friday, March 4, 2022 at Fenton-Kendrick Funeral Home in Centralia with burial to follow in the Centralia City Cemetery.

Visitation will be held from 10:00 AM until the time of the service on Friday at the funeral home.

Ron was born on April 13, 1955 in Kentucky the son of William Thomas and Aldia Jane (Morris) Purvis.

Ron is survived by his daughter, Jessie Purvis (Paul Gustin) of Hazelwood, wife, Tammy Purvis of Centralia, daughter, Katherine Barnes (Andrew Lentz) of Wilmington, NC, son, Matt Barnes (Vanessa) of Centralia, grandson, Cameron Barnes of Centralia, siblings, Wayne Purvis (Brenda) of Hannibal, Rita Chrisman (Carl) of Vandalia, IL, Roger Purvis (Sandy) of Louisville, Joyce Christmann of Columbia.

Along with his parents, Ron was preceded in death by his siblings, Harlan Purvis and Dori Purvis; a granddaughter, Tylee Jo Barnes.

Ron enjoyed golfing, fishing, metal detecting, working on cars, going to car shows, his daughter's photography, riding Harley Davidson Motorcycles, and corvettes. Most of all he loved spending time with his family especially his grandchildren.

Memorial donations are suggested to the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, Leukemia and Lymphoma, and may be sent in care of Fenton-Kendrick Funeral Home, 104 S. Collier Street, Centralia, MO 65240.
