Roy Thomas "Tommy" Moorehead, Jr., 62 of Columbia passed away, Sunday, February 22, 2026, at the University Hospital in Columbia.

Family and friends are invited to Tommy's Life Celebration 12:00 PM Friday, February 27, 2026, at Fenton-Kendrick Funeral Home in Centralia.

Visitation will be held from 10:00 AM until the time of the service at the funeral home on Friday.

Tommy was born on August 20, 1963, in Joliet, Illinois the son of Roy Thomas, Sr. and Carolyn (Gutshall) Moorehead.

On May 7, 1988, Tommy married Linda Faulkner and she survives.

Along with the love of his life, Linda, Tommy is survived by his mother, Carolyn Moorehead, his children, Jason Faulkner of Columbia, Jeremy Sliger (Christina) of Columbia, and Jennifer Johnson (Ryan Bolin) of Hallsville; grandchildren, Ethan, Dylan, Kayla, Danielle, Caitlyn, Macy, Davin, Jayson, Raegan, Ava, Eric, Kayden, Bella, Madison; a great-grandchild, Kennedy and one on the way; siblings, Tim Moorehead and Tammy Kenning (Tom).

Tommy was preceded in death by his father, Roy Thomas Moorehead, Sr.

Tommy was a carpenter by trade, in which he took great pride in his work, some would call him a perfectionist, a true craftsman. He enjoyed tinkering, working in the garden, and camping with his family. Tommy was an outdoor enthusiast, he loved fishing, mushroom and arrowhead hunting, and was a collector of many things.

He was a great husband and father and truly loved his family and the time he spent with them.
