Ruth Crowder, 92 of Hallsville died Monday, December 30, 2019 at Heritage Hall Nursing Center in Centralia.

Funeral services will be held 12:30 PM Friday, January 3, 2020 at the Fenton-Kendrick Funeral Home in Centralia, with burial to follow in the Missouri State Veterans Cemetery in Jacksonville.

Visitation will be held from 11:30 AM until the time of the service at the funeral home on Friday.

Ruth was born on June 7, 1927 in Morgan County, Missouri, the daughter of Tommy William and Ida Mae (DeForrest) Beaver.

On December 2, 1949 in Kansas City, Ruth married Arthur W. Crowder, and he preceded her in death on November 23, 2010.

Ruth is survived by her brother, A.J. Beaver of Versailles, a sister, Linda Sue Pace and husband Harvey of Sedalia; three nieces, Dianne Williams, Janine Beaver of Versailles, and Martha Hartung and husband Ronnie of Stover.

Along with her parents, Ruth was preceded in death by four brothers, Donald Beaver, Newt Beaver, William Beaver and Dale Beaver.

Ruth loved helping Art with work on the farm, doing embroidery, and working in her garden. She also enjoyed flowers.
